Our mission
AI assistants are becoming part of daily work, but their memory is fragmented. A project decision in one tool, a writing preference in another, and an important research thread somewhere else should not disappear when you switch tabs.
Vilix exists to make that context portable. Your memory should move with you, whether you are writing, coding, researching, planning, or asking a different AI to continue the work.
Why AI memory matters
The useful parts of AI work accumulate over weeks and months: prior decisions, design constraints, project goals, personal preferences, and the small details that make a conversation productive. When that context is buried, every new session starts with re-explaining.
Persistent memory turns those scattered chats into a body of knowledge you can search, reuse, and carry into the next tool. The result is less repetition and more continuity.
Built around control
Memory is intimate. The drafts, decisions, and half-formed ideas you trust AI tools with belong to you. Vilix is designed around deliberate capture, clear controls, and portable ownership.
You should be able to inspect, search, export, and delete what Vilix stores. Public trust matters more than clever internals.
Where we're going
Vilix starts with the most painful version of the problem: switching between ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, and the AI tools people already use. Over time, the goal is a memory layer that works across any AI surface.

A Note From the Founder
Hi, I'm Abdeljabbar, founder of Vilix.
I built Vilix because I believe AI should remember you without forcing you to repeat your life, projects, and context over and over again.
But I also believe something equally important:
Your memory belongs to you.
Your conversations, preferences, ideas, projects, and personal context should remain private, isolated, and under your control — not sold, shared, or used to train third-party models without your consent.
Vilix is built around that philosophy.
Your data is isolated per user. You can delete conversations, memories, or wipe your data entirely at any time.
Today, Vilix uses secure cloud infrastructure to make persistent memory possible across platforms and AI models. But my long-term vision goes even further:
I want personal AI memory to eventually run locally and privately on users' own devices whenever possible.
We're still building toward that future.
Vilix is not just about making AI smarter. It's about making AI more personal, more useful, and more respectful of the people using it.
